OUR STORY
Semper Kontentu = Always Content
What is Semper kontentu? The term is Papiamentu (the local language in Bonaire) and it means:
"ALWAYS CONTENT".
Aletta adopted the phrase with the intention that her goats spend their lives in a fully contented state, thus producing the highest quality milk.

Aletta fell in love with goat farming as a hobby while in Costa Rica back in 2004. Upon returning to Bonaire, she started bottle feeding 2 baby goats and her passion and business have grown from there. Aletta has lived on Bonaire for 25 years and in the spirit of "do what you love" changed from a career in physical therapy to goat farming!

If you've been on the island of Bonaire before, you know what a truly special place it is. Aletta brings forth a kind, pure and clean energy not only to her goats, but to the island as a whole. A visit with Aletta will leave you feeling honored to have experienced life as it's meant to be lived.
ABOUT OUR SEMPER KONTENTU FARM
At our Semper kontentu Farm, we are committed to providing a holistic and sustainable approach to goat farming. Aletta offers local tours where you can discover our pilot project syntropic farming and learn about our goat routine. Our mission is to produce high-quality cheese: chevre and feta, goat milk, goat yogurt, lemon balm tea, and eggs, all of which are free-range, organic, and GMO-free. If you're interested in more of a fully immersive experience, we also we offer Bed and Breakfast for tourists where you can "sleep with the chickens".

During your tour, you will experience life on the farm with an opportunity to assist with milking the goats, feeding the goats and chickens as well as spending some time connecting with and absorbing the positive energies of the animals. Once we have completed our goat routine, the reward for a job well done includes a chance to sit and chat with a delicious cup of coffee with goat milk and some fresh yogurt and cheese.
FREE-RANGE, ORGANIC & GMO-FREE
We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products while maintaining a sustainable and ethical approach to farming. Our goats roam freely on our farm, and we use only natural methods to care for them and our land.
